A subvertisement workshop involves interpreting and subverting the messages made in product advertising. With the help of this guide, you can run a subvertisement workshop suitable for primary schools or groups of older students.
In the workshop you and your students can critically analyse advertisements, ask questions of world trading relations that bring products into your lives, and use this knowledge to make and present your own subvertisements. The guide is made by the NGO Pro Ethical Trade Finland (Eettisen kaupan puolesta ry), with funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland.
